The end of Summer...

Summer is almost over, but I managed to squeeze in one last trip to the beach! It was a bit breezy, but a light sweater and geometric-print rayon pants kept me warm (and are awesome transitional pieces for early fall!)- and of course I had to wear my new Ashish x Topshop sunnies!!

Brownie chic

Hello! It has been a long summer (and ok , yeah, fall too!) vacation since I have posted, but now I am back! It is getting colder, and I am obsessed with crunchy leaves and fall fashions. Right now Topshop's Unique collection has me filled with nostalgia for my long gone girl scouting days- is it wrong to love the idea of dressing like a grownup 1930's girl scout? If so, I don't want to be right!!

Cannes dream wardrobe...

So, I recently had an opportunity to get in on a stay at a French villa (and fest passes)for the Cannes Film Festival this upcoming May- naturally I jumped on it! spring fever!

Topshop is making me crazy with spring fever- I want everything in their new spring lines! Here are a few of my favorites-

daytime sequins?

There seems to be a trend towards daytime sequins/sparkle lately, especially at Topshop, where there is a whole section devoted to 'trophy jackets'. While daytime sequins might not be practical for everyone, it never hurts to have a few sparkly tops for the evening, anyway! I like this chain mail jacket from Topshop , but I am less sure about this hooded navy number from pixiemarket- the
hood is a bit scary!
